[National Health Commission: Primary medical and health institutions have launched 19 intelligent applications] September 17th, the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Global Initiative for Artificial Intelligence for Health was held today in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The relevant person in charge of the National Health Commission introduced at the conference that as of August this year, China's primary medical and health institutions had launched 19 intelligent applications. The application of intelligent decision-making assistance for grassroots general practitioners covers 900 counties and districts in 28 provinces and 21 districts in 4 municipalities directly under the Central Government: Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Chongqing. Intelligent patient management covers 578 counties and districts in 16 provinces and 14 districts in 4 municipalities directly under the Central Government: Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Chongqing.
