[UK Maritime Trade Action Office: An oil tanker was attacked in the Strait of Hormuz] September 18th, the British Maritime Trade Action Office issued a report on the 18th local time stating that the agency received a report of an incident that occurred in the Strait of Hormuz. The report stated that an oil tanker was attacked by "unidentified projectiles" and caused a fire. The fire has been extinguished. All crew members are reported to be safe and the impact on the environment has yet to be confirmed. The notice advises ships to proceed with caution in the relevant waters.
