[Special Action to Keep the Bottom Line on Compulsory Product Certification: Suspend 108,500 CCC Certification Certificates] On September 18, reporters learned today that the State Administration for Market Regulation has launched a nationwide special action to keep the bottom line on compulsory product certification, launching "double random, one open" supervision and inspection of certification practitioners, covering all 34 CCC designated certification agencies, 90 CCC designated laboratories and 300 voluntary certification agencies. Currently, designated certification agencies have suspended a total of 108,500 CCC certifications, involving 18,500 production companies, and revoked a total of 44,900 CCC certifications, involving 13,000 production companies. Among them, more than 4,200 CCC certifications for power banks and lithium batteries that cannot continue to meet certification requirements have been revoked or canceled, effectively ensuring product quality and safety. At the same time, we continue to carry out special management of institutional registration and certification rules. Since this year, we have reviewed 50,200 rules, 30,300 of which were not approved for registration, 17,700 of which were returned for rectification, and 2,186 of which were passed. High-standard certification rules are used to ensure high-quality certification activities.
