[SoftBank’s credit line due this month was renewed for one year and the scale was increased to US$6.5 billion] On September 18, SoftBank Group was reported to have obtained an additional US$450 million in credit lines, increasing an existing line to US$6.5 billion. The original credit facility, totaling $6.05 billion, is set to expire this month, and now SoftBank can use it for another year with an increased limit. It is unclear whether SoftBank has used or plans to use this new quota. The latest credit facility currently has more than 20 banks participating. The new agreement's interest rate is 210 basis points higher than the benchmark overnight secured financing rate.
