[U.S. SEC liberalizes tokenized stock trading] September 18th. On September 17th, local time, the SEC issued a rule called "Innovation Exemption" (Innovation Exemption), allowing trading platforms that meet certain conditions to provide tokenized stock trading in the United States, and granting relevant platforms multiple regulatory exemptions for a period of five years. The SEC said the initiative is intended to allow market participants to explore on-chain stock trading in a controlled environment while gaining experience for regulators to develop long-term rules.
