[U.S. AI giants eye the deployment of small computing power faster.] On September 18th, in addition to signing large-scale data center agreements, Anthropic and OpenAI are seeking to deploy small computing power in the scale of 20 to 30 megawatts. Relevant negotiations have been advanced in Europe and the United States. Multiple people familiar with the matter revealed that Anthropic has approached relevant cooperation agreements in the UK and the Nordic region for the deployment of computing power of this scale. OpenAI has also been looking for similar small-scale deployment opportunities in Northern Europe, some of them said.
