[The Security Council Completes the Third Round of Intentional Voting for the Selection of the United Nations Secretary-General] On September 19th, Jerome Bonafon, the rotating president of the Security Council for that month and the Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations, announced on September 18, local time, that the Security Council had completed the third round of intentional voting for the selection of the next Secretary-General that day. The results of the intentional voting will not be announced to the public and will be notified to each candidate through the candidate-promoting country.
