According to the communiqué, the two countries will cooperate in defense equipment research and development and production, procurement and exchange, technology transfer, personnel exchanges and other aspects. The agreement was signed in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, and Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, in March 2022. Brazil completed the domestic approval process in September 2025. The agreement is valid for 5 years. After expiration, if no party raises any objection, it will be automatically renewed year by year.
