[Shandong: The high-end chemical industry plans to anchor 16 development directions during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period] On September 19, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology recently solicited opinions from the public on the "Shandong Province's "15th Five-Year Plan" High-end Chemical Industry Development Implementation Plan (Draft for Comment)". It is proposed that by 2030, the added value of the province's chemical industry will grow by more than 5% annually on average, and the economic benefits of high-end chemical industry will account for about 65% of the province's chemical industry. The energy supply system and raw material security structure in the basic chemical industry have been further optimized, and the competitiveness of products in the fields of new chemical materials and fine chemicals has been significantly improved. It proposed the implementation of three major actions to strengthen the foundation of the basic chemical industry, strengthen the new chemical materials industry, and innovate and improve the quality of the fine chemicals industry, and clarified the development direction of 16 subdivided areas such as petrochemicals, coal chemical, and salinization.
