[Qualcomm and China Mobile carry out end-to-end prototype testing based on 6G] "Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily" reported on the 20th that China Mobile and Qualcomm announced that the two parties successfully completed the world's first U6G frequency band 6G prototype base station and terminal prototype docking test that complies with the latest definition of 3GPP based on the 6G open public innovation test device at the China Mobile Collaborative Innovation Base, marking a new stage of 6G key technologies from research to systematic verification. This verification is the world's first operator and chip manufacturer to test prototype base stations and terminals in the U6G frequency band (6425–7125MHz range) based on the large-bandwidth baseband and radio frequency alignment requirements defined by 3GPP. The two parties achieved uplink and downlink interoperability based on China Mobile's 6G open public innovation test device and Qualcomm Technologies' U6G prototype terminal platform, which not only verified the single-point technical capabilities, but also preliminarily verified the feasibility of future 6G networks and terminals evolving to large bandwidth and high flow numbers.
