[State Administration for Market Regulation: Accelerate the revision of the E-commerce Law and deploy live broadcast e-commerce industry governance] September 20th, reporters learned from the press conference held by the State Council Information Office on the start of the "15th Five-Year Plan" series that one of the key tasks of the State Administration for Market Regulation during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period is to strengthen supervision and promote the win-win development of platform companies, operators and workers within the platform. The first is to speed up the revision of the E-Commerce Law: On the one hand, on the basis of the current legal liability regulations, we will promote the increase of proportional fines, suspension of relevant businesses and other punishment types, and further consolidate the main responsibilities of the platform in terms of merchant entry review, product information management and control, consumer safety protection and merchants' independent operation rights protection. On the other hand, to adapt to the development trend of the platform economy, new business forms of e-commerce operators, new employment forms of workers and platform-related entities shall be included in the scope of adjustment, and the legal transformation from dual subjects to multiple subjects shall be promoted. At the same time, we will further promote the implementation of special actions for platform verification and registration obligations, deploy and carry out special actions such as live broadcast e-commerce industry governance and second-hand e-commerce platform standardization and governance, and continue to standardize the order of the online market. In addition, we will accelerate the construction and application of the national network supervision platform, promote cross-level and cross-department interconnection of supervisory data resources, and continuously improve the effectiveness of collaborative governance.
