[Report: M&A market transaction volume rebounded in August Significant increase in the volume of single transactions] On September 20, China Investment Jiachuan released a data report on China's M&A market in August 2026. It showed that in August 2026, Chinese enterprises' M&A market disclosure plans included a total of 455 M&A transactions, of which 217 disclosed the amount. The total transaction amount was 122.995 billion yuan, a month-on-month increase of 84.73% and a year-on-year decrease of 59.42%. Taken together, the transaction amount ended the previous four consecutive months of decline, and the volume of single transactions increased significantly.
