[Huayuan Holdings: The controlling shareholder plans to change to Financial Street Capital] On September 20th, Huayuan Holdings (600743.SH) announced that the company’s controlling shareholder Huayuan Group plans to transfer 29.9% of the company’s shares (701 million shares) held by it to Financial Street Capital under the control of the same actual controller through a combination of non-public agreement transfer and free transfer. Among them, 21.504% of the shares (505 million shares) were transferred at an agreement price of 2.22 yuan per share, and 8.396% of the shares (197 million shares) were transferred free of charge. After the transaction is completed, the controlling shareholder will be changed from Huayuan Group to Financial Street Capital, and the actual controller, Xicheng District State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, will not change. Financial Street Capital promises that the shares acquired will not be transferred within 18 months from the date of completion of the transfer. This transaction still needs to go through procedures such as state-owned assets approval and Shanghai Stock Exchange compliance confirmation, so there is uncertainty.
