[BitMine purchased an additional 27,562 Ethereums in the past week, and its total holdings increased to 5.9839 million Ethereums] September 21st, according to BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) announced that the company's ETH holdings have reached 5.98394 million (accounting for 4.9% of the total supply of Ethereum), with 27,562 new purchases in the past week; adding 212 BTC and cash and other assets, the total holdings of cryptocurrency and cash reached US$17.1 billion. Chairman Tom Lee said that the company has completed 98% of its goal of "holding 5% of the Ethereum supply."
