[2026 National Day Culture and Tourism Consumption Month Launched] On September 22, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism held the 2026 National Day Culture and Tourism Consumption Month home event in Mile City, Yunnan Province, officially launching the 2026 National Day Culture and Tourism Consumption Month. The Consumption Month will last from late September to the end of October. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with relevant departments and supporting units, will launch a series of cultural tourism activities and measures to benefit the people around the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day to enrich the supply of seasonal cultural tourism products and services and better meet the needs of residents and tourists during the double holiday and autumn cultural tourism consumption. During the consumption month, various regions will increase the supply of high-quality cultural and tourism products, hold more than 20,000 cultural and tourism activities, and issue more than 310 million yuan in consumer vouchers and other consumption subsidies to provide residents and tourists with richer choices and a more comfortable experience during holiday travel, focusing on popular needs such as traveling to mountains and rivers, Mid-Autumn Festival reunions, autumn appreciation leisure, red tourism, study tourism, night economy, and intangible cultural heritage delicacies.
