[Leaders from many countries call for control over the development of cutting-edge artificial intelligence] On September 22, the Finnish Presidential Palace issued an announcement on September 21 that leaders of Finland, Norway and other countries and EU institutions jointly issued an international initiative calling on the world to strengthen the governance and international cooperation of cutting-edge artificial intelligence to ensure that artificial intelligence technology is always within the controllable range of humans. The initiative, called "Call for the Control of Cutting-Edge Artificial Intelligence Models," was co-sponsored by Finnish President Stubb and Norwegian Prime Minister Steller. It has been supported by leaders of 20 countries and the European Commission.
