[Stifel Maintains Oracle's "Buy" Rating on Project Jupiter Data Center Construction Progress Increases to 26%] On September 22, Stifel maintained the company's "Buy" rating after progress was made on Oracle's Project Jupiter data center project in New Mexico. Mahesh Thiagarajan, vice president of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, said the project is now 26% complete, an increase of 17 percentage points from the progress disclosed in July. However, only about 10% of the fuel cell microgrid sites are complete, and there are still delays in air and water quality permits and natural gas pipeline approvals. Subsequently, the New Mexico Supreme Court unanimously rejected two legal challenges to the project permit, clearing some construction obstacles so that air quality permit hearings can move forward and the project can resume drawing water from Santa Teresa wells after a suspension of more than three weeks. Stifel also pointed out that the examiner and specific date for the air quality hearing have not yet been determined. Previously, Oracle's revenue and earnings per share in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027 both exceeded expectations, and its cloud infrastructure business maintained rapid growth, but profit margin pressure remains the focus of the market.
