Officials say the Encinal project is designed to meet Texas' growing power needs. Currently, local semiconductor factories and artificial intelligence (AI) data centers are expanding rapidly. Sources said that the second and third projects planned by the South Korean government are to build eight large nuclear reactors in the United States and to develop a liquefied natural gas project in Alaska.
