[Japan plans to build 130 new ammunition depots] September 22nd, according to the "Nihon Keizai Shimbun" recently disclosed that the Japanese Ministry of Defense plans to build about 130 new ammunition depots by around 2032 on the basis of the current approximately 1,400 ammunition depots. The sites for 65 of them have been decided, and new construction is planned to begin in 2027.
