[Report: China's intelligent computing power is expected to grow by 87.9% year-on-year in 2026] On September 23, International Data Corporation (IDC) and Inspur Information jointly released the "2026 China Artificial Intelligence Computing Power Development Assessment Report" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report"). The "Report" points out that agents are reshaping computing power infrastructure, using a multiplier effect to promote a surge in token consumption, driving a significant increase in the slope of China's smart computing power scale, and making computing power a national strategic infrastructure on the same level as water conservancy, power grids, and railways. The "Report" predicts that the rapid growth in the number of agents and token consumption is driving the demand for computing power to continue to rise. The scale of China's intelligent computing power is expected to reach 2576.5 EFLOPS in 2026, a year-on-year increase of 87.9%, and will further reach 10524.3 EFLOPS by 2030; the compound growth rate of China's intelligent computing power scale from 2025 to 2030 will increase from 46.2% predicted in the previous version to 50.3%.
