[Apple moves to restrict "Shake" ads] On September 23, a large number of iPhone users reported that Apple quietly added a setting option called "Restrict Motion Data" for users in China in the latest iOS 27.2 Beta 2 test version system. This function is located in the "Settings - Privacy and Security - Sports and Fitness" directory. After it is turned on, users can manually select the apps that need to be restricted. Apps added to the list will not be able to obtain permissions for motion sensor data such as accelerometers and gyroscopes, thus cutting off the triggering source of "Shake" open-screen ads from the bottom of the system. The reporter’s actual measurement found that after the iPhone is upgraded to the iOS 27.2 Beta 2 version, the App Store must log in to the domestic ID to see the “Restrict Motion Data” option in the settings and enable this function. After enabling it, the function of switching back to the foreign ID will be invalid, and the restriction list previously set with the national account will also disappear simultaneously. In other words, this is a user experience protection measure "specially provided" by Apple for the Chinese market. The functions follow the account, not the device. (Interface News)
