[Petrobras will redeem approximately US$1 billion in global bonds due in 2028 in advance] On August 27, Petrobras announced on August 27 that its wholly-owned subsidiary Petrobras Global Finance had issued an early redemption notice to investors in accordance with the current bond terms and planned to redeem global bonds due in 2028 with a coupon rate of 5.999%. The total principal amount of this redemption is approximately US$1 billion, excluding interest that has been accrued but not yet paid. The company disclosed that the principal amount to be settled is US$1.080945 billion, and the bond maturity date is January 27, 2028.
