[China's largest diameter dual-shield hard rock boring machine with a total weight of over 3,500 tons rolls off the production line] On September 24th, China's independently developed largest diameter dual-shield hard rock boring machine "Yuexihao" rolled off the production line in Sichuan. It has an excavation diameter of 13.01 meters and a total machine weight of over 3,500 tons. It is equipped with a full-process intelligent construction system and can flexibly cope with complex working conditions such as large deformation of soft rock and fault fracture zones. It will be used in the construction of the Yuexi Tunnel on the Jinkou River to Xichang Expressway. The Yuexi Tunnel, which is approximately 18.4 kilometers long, is a control project of the Jinxi Expressway. The Jinxi Expressway is a rapid connection line between the G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway and the G7611 Duxiang Expressway. Once completed and opened to traffic, it will end the history of no expressways in Ganluo, Yuexi and Xide counties.
