The Ministry of Water Resources launched a flood prevention level IV emergency response for Tibet at 13:00 on August 27, guiding and urging the Water Resources Department of the Tibet Autonomous Region to pay close attention to the stability of dams, water storage volumes and changes in rainwater conditions, and strengthen emergency duty, monitoring and forecasting, and consultation and judgment.
