[European electric vehicle sales soared 52% as fuel prices hit record highs] September 24th, according to data released by the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) on Thursday, European all-electric vehicle registrations surged 52% year-on-year in August. Germany, the largest market, led the way, with registrations up by three-quarters; sales in France more than doubled. The average price of gasoline in Germany has pushed to a record high of 2.31 euros per liter.
