[Saudi Arabia sells 100 million barrels of crude oil on a large scale to ease oil shortages in Asia] September 24th: Since the middle of last week, Saudi Arabia has sold nearly 100 million barrels of crude oil to Asian buyers to help avoid impending supply shortages in the region. This batch of crude oil will be transported to buyers, including refining companies in India, Japan, and South Korea, via the Strait of Hormuz. The Saudi East-West Pipeline has not fully resumed operation after the attack on September 10. Saudi Aramco took the initiative to take charge of logistics and transport crude oil to Asian customers.
