[Deadslides in Nepal have killed 626 people and left 2,426 people missing] On August 29, Nepal’s National Disaster Risk Reduction Administration posted on social media that as of 10:00 local time, 626 bodies of victims had been found in areas affected by mudslides in the country, and another 2,426 people were missing. The Kathmandu Administrative Office issued an emergency notice on the same day to collect disaster relief materials from various societies, institutions, enterprises, and individuals in Kathmandu to assist the people affected by the disaster in Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Tading counties. According to a report by the Kathmandu Post on the 28th, the Nepali government will allow international experts to assist in rescue and body identification work.
