[Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po visits Qatar] September 26th, Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po will leave for Qatar late at night today (September 26) to attend the 11th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in Doha. With the theme of "Tomorrow's Infrastructure: Impact and Innovation", this year's AIIB annual meeting will bring together local government officials, multilateral development institutions, business leaders and other stakeholders to have in-depth exchanges on sustainable infrastructure, cross-border connectivity, green financing, digital transformation and other topics, and discuss the AIIB's strategic direction and future work agenda. Paul Chan will attend many meetings at the annual meeting, including formal meetings of the Board of Directors, and will deliver a keynote speech on topics related to digital public infrastructure. He will also meet with other AIIB Board members, as well as local and international political and business leaders. Paul Chan will depart for Hong Kong in the early morning of September 29 (Qatar time) and return to Hong Kong in the afternoon of the same day (Hong Kong time).
