On September 26th, Libya’s National Oil Company stated that it had suspended a refining unit at the Zawiyah Refinery due to armed groups continuing to forcibly close a valve on the Sharala crude oil pipeline. Libya's National Oil Company said it was considering shipping a batch of crude oil through the ports of Melita or Sidra to maintain operations at the Zawiya refinery.
