[China’s new mutual recognition model for Peruvian inbound fruit supervision was piloted for the first time in the “Chancay-Shanghai” shipping route] September 27th, 12.2 tons of fresh blueberries were recently loaded into refrigerated containers at the Peruvian port of Chancay and shipped to Shanghai on the COSCO SHIPPING Lines WSA Line 5 “Chancay-Shanghai” express. What is different from the past is that this batch of blueberries is the first to pilot the mutual recognition model for the supervision of cold processing probes for imported fruits. As the core hub for Peruvian fruit imports, Shanghai Port carries more than 70% of the country’s Peruvian fruit import business and is a key gateway connecting the agricultural products trade between China and Peru.
