[China's northernmost high-speed railway officially opened to traffic] On September 28, China's highest-latitude high-speed railway, the Harbin-Yichun high-speed railway, was officially opened to traffic today. This "steel dragon" runs through the forests and seas of the Lesser Khingan Mountains and across the alpine tundra, further expanding China's high-speed rail territory to the north. The Haiyi High-speed Railway has a total length of 318 kilometers, a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour, and a total of 9 stations along the entire line.
