[The Hang Seng Technology Index closed down 0.37%, with optical communications stocks leading the decline] On September 28, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index closed up 0.54%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index closed down 0.37%. The optical communications sector opened lower and moved lower, with YOFC Optical Fiber and Cable falling more than 16%, and Zhongji InnoLight and Cambridge Technology falling about 12%. Chip stocks generally fell, with Huahong Grace falling by more than 4%, SMIC falling by more than 3%, and GigaDevice falling by more than 7%.
