The offshore wind power flexible DC transmission project with the highest voltage level and largest transmission capacity in the world was simultaneously put into operation, marking a key step in the large-scale development of far-reaching sea wind power in China. After the project is fully put into operation, it can deliver approximately 6 billion kilowatt-hours of clean electricity to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area every year, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by nearly 5 million tons.
