The general debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from September 22 to 28. Khalil said that a total of 194 delegations spoke at the general debate. Khalil also said that the appointment of a new Secretary-General is the next major task of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
