[Shell makes final investment decision on LNG Canada project] September 29th, a statement showed that Shell Canada Energy Company has made a final investment decision on the LNG Canada Phase II project, which will double the facility’s capacity from 14 million metric tons per year to 28 million metric tons per year. The second phase of the project will add two new LNG production lines, a storage tank, a loading berth and supporting systems. It is expected to enter commercial operation in the early 2030s.
