[The world's tallest steel-concrete tower wind turbine is connected to the grid to generate electricity] On September 30, we learned from China Huadian Group that the world's tallest steel-concrete tower wind turbine was successfully connected to the grid to generate electricity in Xinji, Hebei Province, marking a new breakthrough in China's ultra-high steel-concrete tower technology and reaching the international advanced level. The hub center height of the unit reaches 204 meters, which is equivalent to a 70-story residential building. It can make full use of high-altitude stable and high-quality wind resources, and can lower the threshold for low-wind speed wind power development to within 4.5 meters/second. This unit adopts domestically developed ultra-high steel-concrete tower technology. Through the coupling design of the whole machine and the steel-concrete tower, systemic resonance problems are avoided from the design source. It can build a tall tower like building blocks. It is currently the world's tallest mixed-tower engineering application and provides a replicable and scalable technical solution for wind power construction in plain low-wind speed zones.
