[Ministry of Commerce: Looking forward to the overall positive trend of China's trade in services throughout the year, and the growth momentum of service exports is strong] On August 28, Vice Minister of Commerce Yan Dong stated at a press conference of the State Council Information Office that in the second half of the year, the development of China's trade in services will also usher in many benefits. First, the potential of travel services continues to be released. With the peak seasons of international exhibitions, business activities and inbound tourism superimposed, the export of travel services is expected to continue its high growth trend. Second, high value-added businesses enjoy good growth momentum. Digital platform services, cloud services, and artificial intelligence-related services are expediting their overseas expansion. Telecommunications, computer and information services, intellectual property rights, culture and entertainment and other services are developing rapidly, driving service trade to move up the value chain. Third, policy dividends continue to support. Policies and measures such as capacity expansion and quality improvement in the service industry and the construction of a national services trade innovation development demonstration zone have been implemented and have taken effect, complementing the upcoming Service Trade Fair and creating a better environment for high-level openness and high-quality development of services trade. Looking forward to the whole year, China's services trade will maintain a positive and positive trend in general, and service exports will have strong growth momentum.
