If this tool is released, it will have an important impact on China's automobile, battery and other industries. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers is highly concerned about this, and hereby solemnly declares our position as follows: China considers the tools mentioned in the report to be typical protectionist and unilateral measures. Such measures will not only be ineffective in solving the transformation challenges faced by the European automobile industry itself, but will also affect China-EU economic and trade relations and disrupt the stability of the global automobile industry chain and supply chain. If the EU insists on advancing relevant measures, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers will firmly support the Chinese government in taking necessary countermeasures to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the Chinese automobile industry and maintain a fair, just and non-discriminatory international economic and trade environment.
