[National Highway Traffic Safety Administration: Ford will recall approximately 42,000 vehicles in the United States] September 30th, according to a recall notice submitted online by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Ford Motor Company is recalling 41,748 vehicles in the United States. The headlight assemblies of these vehicles may contain contaminated LED chips, which may cause daytime running lights, parking lights, high beams or low beams to fail, increasing the risk of collisions. This recall involves 2026 F-350 SD, 2025-2027 Expedition, 2026 F-550 SD, 2026 F-450 SD, and 2026 F-250 SD vehicles.
