Netanyahu said an Israeli passenger on the plane told him that the plane lost control and plummeted. The passenger and the crew worked together to subdue the assailant pilot, and the crew then entered the cockpit and successfully stabilized the aircraft. Netanyahu said that all passengers on the plane were out of danger and the pilot who committed the attack has been arrested by Saudi authorities and is being interrogated. Israel is in contact with the relevant parties and ensuring that the passengers can return to Israel as soon as possible.
