[China FAW’s perovskite photovoltaic canopy prototype is on the road, and the average annual power generation of a single vehicle is about 400 kWh] August 28, the reporter learned today that China FAW has recently completed the preparation of perovskite photovoltaic canopy prototypes to promote the on-board application of the third generation photovoltaic technology - perovskite. Currently, the first full-size perovskite canopy prototype has been installed on a vehicle. It can achieve nearly 300 watts of real-time power generation under sufficient sunlight, with an average annual output of about 400 degrees of clean electricity, which can cover the power needs of low-voltage loads such as parking air conditioners, refrigerators, and sentry modes. According to estimates, in the future, passenger cars will integrate photovoltaics in the entire body area such as the roof canopy and hood. The maximum daily power generation can reach 10 degrees, which is equivalent to a free extension of 80 kilometers and can cover more than 85% of the daily travel needs of domestic users.
