On October 1, BYD announced that the company sold 463,600 new energy vehicles in September, compared with 396,300 vehicles in the same period last year; the cumulative sales from January to September this year were 3.1316 million vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 3.94%. Among them, the sales of pure electric vehicles in September were 273,100 units, a year-on-year increase of 33.21%; the sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles were 183,600 units, a year-on-year decrease of 2.36%. In September, 180,700 new energy vehicles were exported.
