On October 2, the euro zone’s CPI increased by 0.6% month-on-month in September, which was expected to be 0.5%. Eurozone CPI rose 3.8% year-on-year in September. The core CPI in the Eurozone increased by 2.5% year-on-year in September, compared with expectations of 2.5%.
