[The coalition of the party of the Prime Minister of Latvia takes the lead in the preliminary results of the parliamentary election] On October 4, the preliminary vote count results announced by the Central Election Commission of Latvia on the 4th local time showed that of about 95.4% of the votes counted, the "Joint List" of the party coalition of Prime Minister Andris Kuhlbergs was significantly ahead of other political forces and is expected to win the most seats in this parliamentary election. According to preliminary vote counting results, as of 7:30 local time on the 4th, a total of 6 political parties or party alliances received more than 5% of the votes. Among them, the "Joint List" of Kuhlbergs' political party alliance received 35.34% of the votes; the Latvian First Party ranked second with 13.15% of the votes; and the "Sovereign Forces/New Latvians Alliance" ranked third with 11.76% of the votes.
