[ITOCHU Corporation invests in ammonia storage and transportation terminal business in India] On August 31, Itochu Corporation announced that it has acquired a partial stake in India's Aegis Terminal (Pipavav) from Aegis Vopak Terminals and participated in its ammonia storage and transportation terminal business at Pipavav Port in Gujarat. The terminal was completed and ready for operation on August 10. It is India's first independent ammonia storage terminal and is equipped with an ammonia storage tank with a capacity of approximately 36,000 tons (52,000 cubic meters), as well as supporting logistics infrastructure such as loading and unloading facilities, pipelines and truck loading and unloading facilities.
