[Indonesia plans to allow commodity exchanges to trade in U.S. dollars] October 5th, Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority and Bank Indonesia are discussing allowing the upcoming commodity exchange to trade in U.S. dollars, the exchange’s chief regulatory officer Sarjito said on Monday. According to Indonesian law, all domestic transactions must in principle be in the Indonesian rupiah, the national currency.
