On October 5, the UK Maritime Trade Operations Office (UKMTO) stated that it received a report of an incident 11 nautical miles north of Khasab, Oman. An oil tanker sailing into the Strait of Hormuz received a radio call from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards during the voyage. The tanker was instructed to turn around or be targeted. The tanker has followed instructions.
