[Trader: India’s sunflower seed oil imports fell 36% month-on-month in September] On October 5, according to traders, India’s sunflower seed oil imports fell 36% month-on-month to 103,000 metric tons, the lowest level in more than four years. Palm oil imports increased 3.5% month-on-month to 810,000 metric tons, the highest level in seven months. Soybean oil imports fell 4.6% month-on-month to 600,000 metric tons. Total edible oil imports fell by 3.75% month-on-month to 1.5 million metric tons.
