[Russia plans to increase the production of bioeconomic products by 96% by 2030] On October 6, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov told reporters on the sidelines of the "Bioindustry" conference that Russia plans to increase the production of bioeconomic products by 96% by 2030. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov said earlier on October 5 that Russia’s bioeconomy development strategy until 2036 has been approved. Alikhanov said: "By 2030, it is planned to increase the production of bioeconomy products by 96%, so that the proportion of domestic biotechnology products in the consumption structure reaches 55%, and the level of technological independence reaches 40%." The size of the Russian bioeconomy market in 2025 is approximately 480 billion rubles.
