[Yemen's Houthi armed forces warn international airlines to stop operating routes through Saudi airspace] On October 6th, Yemen's Houthi armed forces military spokesman Yahya Saraya issued a statement on the 5th, saying that Saudi Arabia's airspace has become the "operational area" of the Houthi armed forces and warning all international airlines operating relevant routes through Saudi airspace to suspend relevant flights. Saraya said in a statement posted on social media that day that Saudi airspace was "unsafe" and that the Houthis "will not bear any responsibility for the consequences of ignoring this warning." However, the above warning does not include the skies over Mecca and Medina. Saudi Arabia has yet to respond to this warning.
